Educational Lead - BICP
Susan is an experienced teacher and qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo). Susan now works as a special educational needs specialist teacher and has joined bicp to act as education lead.
​
Susan works with students of both primary and secondary age, both in schools and at home. She is passionate about improving outcomes for young people with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia and in empowering parents to understand the best way to support their children with their learning.
Susan also has significant experience supporting young people with an ADHD or autism diagnosis in achieving their educational goals. Susan can offer tailored support for parents to make sure they feel confident that they have a toolbox of strategies to support their child’s learning, whatever their needs.
Susan can also offer 1:1 support with children and young people to help them develop their own study skills and independent learning routines, allowing them to take ownership of their studies and maximise their educational potential.
